Gotta keep the family safe! I called the dealer about this months ago, but the airbag was on intergalactic backorder for a long time. My colleague in parts (who I talk to daily & buy lots from for customer cars) got wise & hoarded some so they could knock the job out for people on the waiting list. Glad to have that off my mind. As a bonus, I got a ride to work in an i3, and came away impressed. Surprising acceleration, and I like the interior finish. I wouldn’t mind commuting in one if they come down on the used market in a few years.

I wondered if you’d see this. Not sure if I’ll make it down Saturday. I have to see how Mother’s Day plans shake out, my pregnant wife well deserves some time sans 2 year old.
